Located in a bay surrounded by a cliff and densely built, the house is conceived as a filter, appearing opaque from the exterior and open to landscape from the interior. Views have been carefully studied to avoid existing buildings and concentrate in natural landscape.
The lower level, in which the bedrooms are located, appears as a hollowed concrete platform surmounted by a suspended volume that shelters the living spaces of the level above it. Here, the two dimensions of the desert are revealed: space (the ocean view and it's horizon) and time (the geological strata of the clif).
