The project re-establishes the relationship between the original 18th century Town hall with the park on the border of the Seine River and clarifies the perception of the existing spaces.
The ground floor is entirely renovated; the location of the different services is modified to create a public hall and a waiting room that opens to the nearby gardens and river. The modern intervention is conceived as "architectural furniture" that defines and qualifies these functional spaces while limiting the contemporary influence of this furniture through its scale.
