The transformation takes the project even further away from the original ideas of the building: A system of light filters over the façade, the creation of a real natural-lighted interior volume, the work over space fluidity, and the evolution of the museum itself and its art collection.

To reinforce the association between the museum, the city and the ocean, all the public services are grouped together. Transparency was also applied to the interiors: all the public spaces have a view towards the permanent collection.
