EXPOSICIÓN BARCLAY & CROUSSE EN ITALIA
El Politécnico de Milán ha dedicado una muestra antológica sobre la obra del estudio, curada por Massimo Ferrari y Claudia Tinazzi. Inaugurada el 18 de junio en el Espacio Guido Nardi, la exposición propone una lectura crítica y sensible de la obra de Sandra Barclay y Jean Pierre Crousse, destacando la forma en que el paisaje —natural, climático, cultural y material— se convierte en la matriz del proyecto arquitectónico, lo que le permite abordar temas importantes para la contemporaneidad —como la sustentabilidad, la inclusión, el cambio climático, etc.— de manera profunda, sin recurrir a los lugares comunes y los refugios fáciles que se han adoptado en épocas recientes. BARCLAY & CROUSSE EXHIBITION IN ITALY
The Polytechnic University of Milan has dedicated a retrospective exhibition to the studio’s work, curated by Massimo Ferrari and Claudia Tinazzi. Opened on June 18 at the Guido Nardi Space, the exhibition offers a critical and sensitive interpretation of the work of Sandra Barclay and Jean Pierre Crousse, highlighting how the landscape—natural, climatic, cultural, and material—becomes the foundation of the architectural project, allowing it to address issues of importance to the contemporary world— such as sustainability, inclusion, climate change, etc.—in a profound way, without resorting to the clichés and easy answers that have become commonplace in recent times.
